All activities and programming will fall into the following areas of focus. These core areas of focus will allow African Women Council to provide a wholistic approach in improving the lives of its members and the community.

  • Create a network of African service providers and businesses
  • Promote development projects in Africa

Health Education
  • Access to Health Services
  • Family Counseling: Domestic Violence, Child Abuse Prevention              

Civic Participation:
  • Mobilize the African community to build strong base to effect change from and in their local government.•Provide a programs and activities information board
  • Encourage intercultural dialogue with an aim to share positive experience to enhance life in US
